Dont the wobblers hate them as much as us? I thought that was the "big" rivalry before we came along?

Northampton have always hated P'boro, indeed a lot of wobblers seem to like the scum, suppose it is partially to do with them never having been in the same league or indeed having had their positions inverted.
Cash on the day could mean more through both gates now.

Agreed, I said a couple of weeks ago it was total nonsense making these games all-ticket when the lilkehood was that the Stadium would only be around half-full at the most.

I think part of the reason for making it all ticket was to prevent scum fans from getting in the home ends, or vice versa (although that would be very unlikely). I'm surprised actually that the police have agreed for it not to be all ticket.

I appreciate that may be the reason but what's changed to make the Police etc. reverse the original decision?
If that's the main reason then this still could happen tomorrow. Whilst appreciating the Club had a problem with a number of Luton fans gaining entry to the PDB many years ago the preception that, nowadays, away fans would seek to do this does not match the reality.
Anyway, I believe fixtures should be only made all ticket if there is a possibility that there will be attendance exceeding the stadium capacity and let's face it I can't see that happening at Nene Park in the near future.

Not sure, I know a couple of Wobblers fans, and they reckon that K*ttering are their second team, comes with the territory of supporting the wobblers apparently, personally I think its because they hate us!!!!!

There won't be any cobblers fans there on Saturday they are at home to Cheltenham, and no I doubt that any of them love K*ttering enough to warrant forking out for two games on the same day.

I expect the club(s) saw the poor ticket sales, then someone from the Diamonds rang the police and said something like "If we don't get a minimum of 2500 through the gate for this fixture, you can kiss your fee goodbye"

I hope that the possibility of mindless hooligans getting into the home areas of the ground doesn't have the adverse effect and put people off going.
