Whats the long term plan in terms of the ground

Not common knowledge to me, as I would have not asked, remember alot of people, are seeing the results and the attendances and are thinking it would be nice to start watch Diamonds again etc, so will have hardly any knowledge of what's gone/going, on., remember not everyone lives in the local area as well.

Have you looked at the official website? It should give you a better idea of what has happened and what is going to happen.
I don't think I'm speaking out of term here to say, that our main aim is to move into Rushden in the future. We are building a long term strategy to achieve this goal, part of that means that we want as many people as possible to become members, as that gives the club strength and credibility within the community, so if you, like a few others are Ummming and Aaaarhing about joining as members, do it now and help the club's future 8-)

Cool, and TBH, no I have only glanced at the OWS, so will get over there and click every link, yes I will become a member, if it helps grow the club long term, I want to be part of it.

When it all started, I watched with one eye, but seeing the 700+ for the first game, caught my attention and many others I would guess. Strangely I am getting more excited about the UCL (shorter distances, more sensible pricing, great little grounds to visit) than I ever did about watching the average conference teams we had.

That is definately the case with most of us. All the places we visit treat us well, and the atmosphere is incredible, just like the old days.............enjoy the day, and if you want to speak to me, just ask one of the crowd to point me out and I'll be glad to have a chat.

Ron, our long term strategy has always been to get back into the Rushden/Irthlingborough/Higham area. We're very grateful to WTFC for our ground share arrangement which enables us to build towards this aim, hopefully it'll be a mutually beneficial arrangement. But to secure land means we have to build a sound financial base, and thats what we're doing.

But to ensure we are as strong as we can be requires us to have a strong membership, the more people that join and remain members, the more we are in a position of strenght when it comes to the future.

I urge everyone who isn't a member and who can afford to do so to join as soon as possible. If you were a member and you've let your membership lapse, renew it !! If you have prize draw tickets and haven't sold them yet - get on it !! If you haven't got any tickets, get some !! When you attend the next home game, buy a raffle ticket or five ! Buy merchandise, a beer, a burger..........it all goes towards our bottom line.

Glad you're "on-board" with us Ron, I hope you're just one of many fans who we will attract over the coming months.
