Not nice to hear. I've been fortunate in that i've never suffered any serious impact injuries whilst playing football but i've been involved in games when they've happened and it can really sour your day/week.

Perhaps he'll change his mind and start playing again once some time has passed. Hopefully he makes a speedy recovery.

Very distressing news.
Chris has been with us for a number of seasons, and has the sweetest left foot I`d ever seen. I won`t be forgetting that left foot cross on the run for a Dave Brazier diving header in a friendly @ Kennedy`s v the u15 academy in a friendly in a hurry. I hope that he might re-consider his decision, but given his past injuries...... Anyway, head up Chris, everyone wishes you a speedy recovery.
