You mean, pat his back pocket while pretending to smoke a cigar when he played in a pre-season friendly at Sixfields for the Diamonds ? Yes, I'm sure that Wobbs fans are a forgiving bunch. :D
Hmmmmm I seem to recall him doing the same to the PDB  .

I still feel greatly let down by him, he got that ban at a time I thought he was performing his very best for us.......wonder why that was ;)

I don't forgive easily and I certainly haven't forgiven him.

I feel that we never replaced Billy properly and this was one of the reasons for us being relegated from the football league

Yes that does ring true. We never found a settled number one until we were relegated to the conference.

I still haven't forgiven him though.

Billy was quality for us, it took a long time to get that suitable replacement which ultimately cost us a lot of points over the time.

Totally agree

Turley is working as goalkeeping coach at Mansfield Town. Didn't take him long to find somewhere new!

I always liked Nicky Eyre, showed so much passion in his games.

Of course Ashdown was brilliant but we also had the likes of Worgan, Blayney, Shearer, Young, Woodman, Ruddy, Tynan, Crane, Eyre, Baker, Bastock, Nicholls, Margason, Anderson, Marriott and Lance Key before Dale became our proper number one for a regular period!!!!
