Both good signings IMO. Allen looked impressive against us for Bugbrooke, and I think Matt Gearing used to play for Cobblers although may be wrong on that.

I think he means that it was only a short stay at Cogenhoe. ;)

Gearing did play for Cobblers, then went on loan to Aldershot.
I can also remember Lance Allen being very good for Bugbrooke last Tuesday, very quick upfront, something to replace Pete I'd imagine.

I reckon Gearing also played with Andy Peaks at Rugby. ;)

Great to hear a couple of new players to shake things up a bit , Gearing sounds a very good prospect and at just a good age as well

ANY PLAYERS WHO EXPRESS A DESIRE TO PLAY FOR DIAMONDS, CAN ONLY BE GOOD FOR THE CLUB. IT WILL BE A LONG SEASON AND IF WE CAN GET A COUPLE OF PLAYERS TO SETTLE IN TO THE TEAM, WE CAN THEN GET SOME KIND OF REGULAR STARTING LINE-UP AND A BIT OF COMPETITION FOR PLACES.
WELL DONE TO THE MANAGEMENT TEAM WHO REALLY SEEM TO WANT TO STRENGTHEN AND PROGRESS.
