I'm sure someone will work it out, but it seems bizarre.Redsnapper wrote:How did we get put in the northern section.

Especially given that St. Blazey (Cornwall) are home to Bitton (Devon, I think) and Bodmin (Cornwall) are home to Downton (Wessex Prem). West seemed to stay pretty tightly regionalised.

The draw is regionalised north and south at this stage based on the number of teams through - sounds obvious - but basically AFC were placed in the northern draw because there were more southern teams left than northern - St Ives can have a similar complaint I would imagine.
After all, it doesn`t get more ridiculous than Bishop`s Stortford, Gloucester, Brackley, Oxford City etc., being in the Blue Square Bet North?

Re: Ashington Away
Thinking possibly regionalised only on a North/South divide, unfortunately we've fallen in the Northern section.
Looking at the other ties this seems highly likely for example Whitley Bay (NE) v Causeway Utd (WM) and Norton Utd (Staffs) v Dunston UTS (NE).
EDIT - beat me to it Steve!

Let's not beef about it, let's just be happy we're in the last 64 and have confidence in our lads to see us through to the last 32 (at least). Personally, I can't wait !!
Sure its a challenge, but just think of the buzz there will be if we travel up there and win !!
