Having said that - well done Starms !
And something that I also found interesting was that the run began after a 5 goal win on the 30th October and went on til 22nd January, and 6 years earlier if I'm not mistaken we also had a dreadful winless run that began after a 5 goal win on October 30th (the game with the Drewe Broughton goal after 15 seconds or something) and went on til 22nd January when we beat Leyton Orient!

However, I doubt Ernie Tippett had won the October manager of the month award 6 years ago

I think that was the game where we beat Notts County 5-1; Drewe scored a hat-trick and Dove scored 2, I think, while also missing a penalty.

Apart from this game, I still shudder whenever someone mentions either Alex Hay or Craig Dove

I should like to add my congratulations to Starms on winning this award - as well as Peaksy and Biff who also deserve mention.

I`ve said it a few times on here, but Starms is one of the best coaches I have worked with, if not THE best and once we got used to each other, made a decent partnership for u18 football.

I am sure this won`t be his last MoM award and if he gets at least a couple more it will surely mean that the club have achieved promotion - or dare I say it - to Wembley!!

Well done mate!
