Has the club heard yet before the team travel up?

Wouldn't have thought so, although it is a pain in the arse i can't see how the game can be called off a day before unless the pitch has 6ft of snow or its -15. I wouldnt like to call it at the moment to be honest.coltrane wrote:Has the club heard yet before the team travel up?
Man of knowledge!FOOTYMAN wrote:I believe there is a pitch inspection in the morning at 9am, with the team meeting up at 10.30 to travel up on the strength that the weather will have no further effect on the pitch. So, if the pitch is okay in the morning, it will remain in a playable state for Saturday.
Bring it on

According to the Ashington fc Facebook page the ice is melting fast so god knows! :lol:rudolph_hucker wrote:I'm on the phone to my mate and he reckons the weather up there is diabolical. If it is on he'll be very surprised as games have been called off with better weather/pitches
Ok but remember that it is gonna freeze overnight and it has been raining all day there. My mate lives 8 or 9 miles from there.Diamond_ Wolf wrote:According to the Ashington fc Facebook page the ice is melting fast so god knows! :lol:rudolph_hucker wrote:I'm on the phone to my mate and he reckons the weather up there is diabolical.
