There were periods where all three presenters could be heard, then Hayden went faint for a while , and especially when on the line to Darren. However the biggest problem was the mike crackling, which got to a point where I could n`t take it anymore and bailed out, sorry. :(
However, apart from a few technical issues , I enjoyed it. It can`t be easy having to find things to say for the duration of a game, and the half time interval, but the chaps did well, sounded relaxed, asked interesting questions and were well worth a listen.
Onward and upward.

Is there any reason why it can't be broadcast on the 'tune in' radio format which seems more reliable?

Yesterday it was done by 2 laptops in the bar in the D&D.
It's the best we can do with the kit we've got I'm afraid, we peaked at 46 listeners yesterday, so it must be okay

You were very faint, Adam. Have you not got a microphone? Paul sounded OK.

I think it was actually Hayden that was faint, he was using a different microphone to me and Paul, one that we do not usually use for matches.

TuneIn is just a method for receiving broadcasts on different platforms, although it might be worth looking if it's a better option to the other different methods already on the webpage, but it wouldn't help with the issues mentioned which sound like they're down to mic levels and dodgy connections/leads. They were using new software as well which hasn't been used before so that too may have played a part.
The broadcast will be listened to and we'll try and pinpoint the causes of the issues and rectify them for next time.
Thanks to Paul, Hayden, Adam and Darren for their fantastic efforts on this, especially for managing to decipher my crash course in internet radio broadcasting, the fact that you got a broadcast at all was a miracle in itself.

Thanks for that Chas. The reason I mentioned TuneIn is that I have the app downloaded on my iPad and it is very reliable with minimal buffering issues and with excellent sound. Even our 'friends' at KTFC have been using it for their match broadcasts this season. The search facility brought up the old Radio Diamonds on 1503 AM!
I appreciate the hard work that all the lads put into providing the service for those unable to attend match. ;)
