River levels this morning. Will be interesting to see the levels tomorrow to see if we'll have a problem on Wednesday.

Indeed, I'm thinking about possibly Bedford v St Neots or maybe Brackley v Oxford City, though they may be off as well, would hate to not be at a football match on boxing day. And has anyone seen the actual state of the D&D, if its anything like it was last time we had a floods several weeks ago then there's no chance in hell that the levels will drop in a day or 2, so frustrating having another big boxing day game probably not on, I think we missed out on a bumper boxing day crowd against Luton and a potential 10,000+ crowd at Oxford a few years ago because of the weather didn't we? I remember instead of 10,000 crowd at Oxford ending up in a crowd of 300 at Corby, fair to say it wasn't quite the same :roll:Diamond_ Wolf wrote:Has everyone else resigned themselves to the game being off??Im already planning on going to Wolves v Peterborough in order to get my football fix, its not the same though :|

Remember getting to Oxford one year (either boxing or NYD) and it called off because of a small patch of frozen grass. A fair few of us quickly drove to Northampton and stood in the away end (think they played Dagenham) and outsung the D & R fans with wobbles songs all day.Olly wrote:Indeed, I'm thinking about possibly Bedford v St Neots or maybe Brackley v Oxford City, though they may be off as well, would hate to not be at a football match on boxing day. My dad tells me that the D&D was flooded up to the halfway line when he drove past today, so its not looking good, will have to make other plans :(
