Eynesbury have Sileby at home and us and Oadby away left. I think they're near enough out of the race (although they could affect it), they would surely have to win all of their remaining games to keep up.

I think it would be very naive, and borderline foolish to write off a team that stuffed us, and who are 4 points above Oadby (regardless of games in hand) so soon Rob.

Darn it, didn't know for sure (although I kinda guessed) as I've been really busy all day, but drove over to Aylesbury to visit my mum after work and had planned on popping in to see the second half on my way home - arrived to see no lights and guessed as I approached the ground that it was off - good job it only took me half a mile out of my way eh? ;)

I agree Jaff, I reckon that the top two at the end of the season will come from the current four sides, Sileby are obviously the favourites for the title, but second spot is definately up for grabs and any of these three clubs could win through. All we can hope is we win all our remaining games against these three sides and they take points off eachother.

I haven't given up on the top spot yet, we're playing well and I still think the Eynesbury result was a freak one (we didn't turn up !!), the Oadby one could have been so different had we taken just one of the first half chances - I think we're stronger now though. I've got half an eye on Bugbrooke too, although they're starting to drop points now.

I'm just delighted to be in the mix - exciting isn't it...........well, if we can get some games played that is (blooming weather !!!).

Yep, I live in Bedford and called in on my brother who lives in Newton Longville on the way back from Aylesbury, so the ground was within half a mile of my route.
