To be fair the BEER in the Pleb hut was better than the frothy stuff in the bar. We walked in and immediately walked out again. Not one of their committee acknowledged us............still they have to come to us 8-)

To be fair he had a lovely pouring technique. He tilted the glass at a slight angle and very slowly poured the beer without spilling a single drop taking about 45 seconds. Small talk was absent however.

I think they should be giving a special welcome at the dog and duck when they visit! Maybe we could have some 'Welcome to hell' banners and a few flares :lol: Or maybe just cold showers :oops:

Reckon all their money is spent paying their overrated players. Hardly a community club, one senior team, no reserve or youth teams or any community teams. No wonder that pitch is like a billiard table, it hardly gets any use. ;)

It was my understanding that the players did but the management didn't, well that was the sob story that Biff gave me which resulted in me buying them all teas and coffees out of my own pocket, ably assisted by Starms personal coffee girls who ordinarily get a night off at away games.

I dont think the community wants them there in all honesty. Was chatting to a steward who explained that they weren't allowed to put the floodlights on until the last minute because of local residents, and they'd had terrible trouble getting them errected in the first place because of the miserable locals.

They live near a massive great industrial estate for feck's sake, what difference a few floodlights every other week going to make?

If any supporters turn up at our home game against them, get them to form an orderly queue and buy some drinks from Dales Bar. Let us show them Community Hospitality. :?

The tea lady told me that facility was owned by Northampton Borough Council and the football club and bowls club have a 99 year lease.
