Re: How many teams
I did hear that new clubs are being through the hoops in respect of ground grading issues whereas older clubs such as BPW, ON Chenecks and Bourne are allowed to continue at Step 6 without floodlights and secure perimeter fencing. With respect to the Dog n' Duck it does beg the question whether the Doughboys would be required to make all these improvements if we weren't ground sharing?

Re: How many teams
I believe that would be the case. Both clubs have been advised of the required work, not just us.rushdenman wrote:Does this mean that if this work is not completed and Wellingborough avoid relegation then they would be demoted, or would they retain their Premier status whilst we would be unable to be promoted despite playing at the same ground?
I can't remember exactly what was said at that Forum, but the ground is only inspected to the level you are aiming to play at the following season. We conducted a survey of the D&D prior to agreeing to play there and believe that it met all criteria for the relevant grading to enter the Southern League. In light of increasing requirements on clubs it may actually fall slightly short now, but it could easily be brought up to Southern League standard with little work/cost.Olly wrote:But I thought the D&D was SL standard, at least that's what was said when we agreed the groundshare.
