I could do with knowing on a scale 1 to 10 what are the chances, I am able to help Chas AMD can be there just after 6 but would have to work most of my lunch break and any inspection will be after lunch.

I should imagine that there should be a fairly good indication, notwithstanding a formal pitch inspection, by noon whether there is any chance the pitch will be fit to play.

Was there still water on the pitch this afternoon?

According to facebook, haydn is saying it is still 50-50 for tomorrow.

No more rain expected between now and tomorrow night, the pitch might just have enough time to dry out a bit

Been down tonight and almost all the water has gone. If we can get some help 2mora during the day to put some sand on the pitch, no reason why the game cannot go ahead. Lot more positive than earlier, so fingers crossed we could get the game on.

Just so you're not worried about lack of helpers - I can be at the ground for 18.15 to help out with the pitch.

I have now got to do the brownie run at 8 pm so will miss the first half hour, unless there is a flood light failure

According to the Weather app on my phone (which has been known to be wrong) it's due to rain from 4pm until kick-off, however it is going to be sunny and 5 degrees from midday until that point.
