I'm hoping the management will take the view that this competition will be a good way to give squad players and youth team players game-time. If we get far using the reserves/youth then great, if we go out early, also great - especially if we avoid having to play KO Cup games on Saturdays. I really couldn't care less about this competition, along with the Senior Cup.

I agree, use the reserves and fringe players to keep them sharp and match fit. And, I believe there is an U21 team this season, so the team will be better equipped to compete at a more serious level..

I'd like us to take the Hillier Senior Cup seriously as the games are midweek and there's the opportunity to play K*ttering and Northampton which would be good. My stance on the KO Cup is the same as the Junior Cup last year - it's fine until games start taking precedence over league games on Saturday's, at which point it becomes an irritation.

Decent draw, home tie and a side we've never played.

Agree, except I feel with the inclusion of clubs from higher levels (including K*ttering of course  ), that the senior cup will be a bit more interesting than the junior cup (where a reserve side got to the final  ). Sure no one really takes it that seriously, but it still would be good to get a game against Brackley or Corby from a few levels above. Though I imagine a home game against K*ttering in that competition would be interesting, what with probably having to have segregation in place

We havn't got separate turnstiles so difficult to see how segregation could be implemented.
