Personally I don't care about how many games I save, its the convenience factor for me - I'll be getting one and I'm certain to miss more that 2 games during the season due to work commitments, but couldn't care less !! I have a football club again
I'll be getting a programme ST as well, that way I don't miss out
Raising awareness of Motor Neurone Disease RIP Dale Roberts - gone, but never forgotten!!
The official site has been amended for you Ron. Chas spent ages on puttin this system together so that we offer a seamless easy system to order your season ticket. I didn't think about putting the savings as like Trek I assumed most would know but take on board what you said and have changed accordingly
I thought the fact that we didn't direct you to a different http page owned by another company and asked for cheques to be made payable to another party and asked you all to provide a photo would have made our system look a breeze!!!

The point being, from a marketing point of view, is that that information is not there and forces the buyer to look it up, when it should be on that screen, showing there and then what the deal is.
If I was just browsing thinking about buying it, why would I jump at buying it, as on the face of it I do not know if it is value for money unless I bother to do the research, marketing people will tell you, that soon as that happens you loose a sale.
Eg
This deal means you get 2 games free, or pay only £5.40 per game, wow I have that information on the screen where do I sign up, see what I mean.
Do you work in sales???
even if there was no saving ill still be renewing even if i end by missing games and make a small loss

Thanks for doing that. There is also now an updated general Ticket News page which links to the various detail postings - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/ticket-news. Hopefully that will provide people with all the information they need for the moment - details of prices for other games will be added once agreed between the relevant parties.

Haha!
FWIW I agree with Ron, even though most people coming to the website would know what kind of saving they will be making, it doesn't hurt to point it out again and it might entice those that aren't sure about buying one to do so.
If it came across as "having a go", I wasn't, the ordering process is completly sorted, I was just trying to point out, that a few word changes might make a few more people buy spontaneously, instead of seeing it and then getting distracted so to speak, I have a feeling that ST sales could be quite high this year.
I have run many E-Commerce and recruitment sites of the years, and getting your wording (SEO stuff), correct in a very competitive market is absolutely key to getting the sale over the next man.
Either way, there's no excuse now, with that info, I better get the credit card out!!!
This is what the club's all about though, people making suggestions, and ideas getting taken on board. 8-) Anyway after checking my bank balance today I shall be making a purchase this evening, even though I may be missing a few matches after the birth of my second. Mon you Diamonds!!
