The unofficial AFC Rushden & Diamonds messageboard

I'm taking this very seriously, printing out stats etc, sorting out music for each player. So far got a well known disco number from the late 70s by The Brothers Johnson for one our defensive line up, any ideas :o

You'd be lucky to find those on the Radio Diamonds laptop!

WQhat exactly do we have at our disposal on the AFCR&D laptop?

This may be a little known fact, but if we are able to increase the Radio Diamonds listeners by 10,000% we will exceed Radio 5s normal figures so the gauntlet has been thrown down, tell all your friends & family or even K*ttering fans as they have no game (due to it being FA Cup week) and lets book a spot on record breakers. Send any useful or other wise bits of info that could be used. Including the correct frenetic pronunciation of Pete's name in case he plays. This could be something special in sports commentary :lol:
PS Can you be ejected from a ground for comments made on radio :?: just worried about my Co presenter, no Kirsty Gallagher is he.

I think I should be the "roving reporter" asking the management team and fans for their thoughts on the game............I'll avoid jaff naturally :lol:

I was seriously thinking of offering my services at a future date. I did not realize the situation was quite so desperate. I will seek you out tomorrow and if you need me we can sort something out.

I pride myself on being something of a "Statto" and my knowledge of the non league game goes back nearly 50 years.....and I read every page of the NLP every week!!!

Obviously the situation for this week was quite desperate, whereas normally we'd have our usual team at the game if it was any other day, but do come and see us at a home game soon and we can sort something out.

Well I'm much more varied as have a complete back catalogue of Viz & Nuts together with a limited interest in football so today will be varied, & may possibly include a report on the 3 day event at Burghley last week :o then again. My main target other than of course setting record listener figures and exceptional mispronunciation of names, will be to restrict my co presenter to a max of 50 words or 2 interrupted sentences.
