With Merrill out I'm guessing that Gilly will step in at right-back? I think we'll score, maybe even score two, but I don't think we'll be able to cope with a Step 3 attack. 2-4 (Dunkley and Taylor), 850+ crowd hopefully.

I'm going for 2-2. With Alfie scoring both.

Will we be able to name all 7 subs this time as we have game in the morning.?
mine would be
Parky
Rashid Koriya
Elliot Dent
Sean McBride
Quincy
Lance Allen or Ben Morgan
Wiz

I'll be astonished if we keep a clean sheet, and i'll be equally surprised if we don't score so i'm going for a 3-2 home win.

Just in case your post has confused anyone - the U21 game is also in the afternoon - KO 2pm - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/les-underwoo ... -September . Ironically, as that is the Les Underwood NFA Cup game we wouldn't be as limited in the number of "over-age" players for that game - but obviously at least 7 of them are needed for the FA Cup game bench.

Here's my starting XI ;-

..................................CROSS

Gillingwater.........Parkinson........Clarke..........Brown

Koriya...............Harris.............KIng...........Liburd

.....................Dunkley...........Taylor

subs;- Shorunmu, McBride, Deakin, Allen, Dent, Wiz, Morgan

I'd start Parky over Deaks purely for his experience and aerial ability at the back considering we've conceded a lot of soft headed goals this season.

We have moaned, in the past, about our lack of coverage in the Northamptonshire Telegraph which has vastly improved over the last month or so. I had a look on the 'Cambridge News' website and there is absolutely no mention that City have a FA Cup match tomorrow.

Agree with tods line up, but it would be a mix up of whether to start wizz or Nat. Really don't think wizz deserves to be on the bench.
And as for not being able to cope with step 3 attack let's just hope cross is on top form. But to be fair to the guy although he let it slip at colney I have been thoroughly impressed. Hes done excellent imo :D

I would pick the team, based on availability, fitness, along with attitude and they must have turned up for training. There is news that there have been a lot of no-shows for Thursday training sessions. :o
I don't think the players are fit enough to trouble our opponents.
1 - 4.
But, I will be there cheering them on.

According to a coupleof Cambridge players their manager has told them they have nothing to worry about it will be a walk in the park for them.
