Yes Formic, I did notice reference to this but was unsure as to what the problem that the lad has. A real shame.Formic wrote:At the risk of taking Trek / Utto's role in Twitter feed reading, I note one from Mason Thomas which seems to be saying he's going to be out of the game for 12 months. That's a real shame, as he looked a feisty prospect when he came on last week.

Now someone from a higher level has pointed this out, it`s now safe and not breaking confidence to say the team may possibly be a bit stronger than last Tue, though i`m sure not through choice from Starms. Though Little Brownie will not be at left back as he`s as rough as a robbery dog at the moment, it may be a bad case of MAN FLU :roll:AndyKirkup wrote:Something which will make the team selection a bit more interesting are the rules of the NFA cups which, in a nutshell, say that if a player plays for a club in a competition (e.g. the HSC) then he will not be eligible to take any further part in a more junior, county, saturday competition (e.g. the LUJC).sussexdiamond wrote:yes Radio Diamonds will be there. So be sure to listen in if you are unable to get to the match.
I expect the team to be similar to last weeks v Huntingdon. Welly did not have a UCL match last Saturday so will probably want to give most of their first team a run out and maintain their 100% record against us.
With the U21s progressing in the LUJC on Saturday, selecting the same squad as last Tuesday night would remove 5 of the players who started for the 21s on Saturday and hence decimate them ahead of the next round. So the management have a balancing act on their hands in terms of ensuring that both teams are competitive in the county cups.

Quincey would be a bit of a shock as he goes under the knife on FridayUttoDiamond wrote:Jamal's out with an ankle knock and Gilly might be out too. Deaks will probably start with AN Other. Expect starts for Denty, Wizz, Gearing (?), McBride, and Quincy.

1 - 0 to Wellingborough, a freekick which Quincy got a hand to but couldn't keep out.

2-0 to Wellingborough, they scored a penalty a while ago. Two attendances over 200 for these midweek cups, which is quite good considering the important matches we've had on Saturdays. Can't say I'm too bothered about going out though.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

The right team won on the night and seemed like they wanted it more. If Town's delivery's had of been better they could have been out of site by half time. Shame for the young lad to concede a penalty on his debut, but he did ok although a little nervous. With other cup and league they priority we'll forget about our debut in this competition, although a potential match up with K*ttering has now gone
