According to the supporters forum (poppynet) - Elliot Dent has signed and is registered to play for the club.

I say all the best to him, he don't deserve any flak whether he is pulling on red or not...football is a passion and that's his game. He is simply there to do his job. Good on you Elliott!!

He was standing not far from me Tuesday with his ladyfriend... although he showed his face I don't think he paid much attention to the game, no wonder he left at half time

Good luck to him, I'm sure he'll show more grace than the last person who headed that way because he's a good lad. Hope it works out for him.

Well, you do seem to have a lot of (other people's) cash to flash these days, Alfie is on a contract so feel free to pay us a fee eh? :D

Just 3 if I recall correctly, Alfie, joe merrill and Sam brown - I'm sure my fellow fans will correct me if I've missed anyone out. It's called being sustainable and living within your means - you should try it sometime, it's quite good fun, we've learnt our lesson from the folly of others - seems some clubs still need a reminder !! :)

I'll second that. I hope he is a success for them, and I'm sure he will show the appropriate respect towards his old club. We've had a good few who've done that in the past - Collins, Brady, Mills etc, and all of them are still well regarded in Diamonds circles.

Not had the pleasure of you for a while, presume you have now finished walking the streets of well intended generous football fans with your begging bowl, and now have plans afoot to spend any surplus.
On the Alfie front, I fully understand the management team you have in place are something special, but are they really so good they could take another one of our 20 + goals a season strikers & turn him into 2 in competitive games in 3 months. :?: :?:

If Alphie was offered the same £250 a week I here Scot Cross is rumoured to be on he would consider it.
