Get your point and totally agree with it, but is it not Oct 2013 player of the month, not most % work rate increase over past 2 seasons. That said I would still have Alfie in the top 4 this month, the one I can't work out is how few votes Joe has got :o possibly related to his interview skills & command of big words  something to work on Joe :!:
Surely work rate is part of player of the month or am I missing something??? Working for the team is just as important as scoring goals. Taking defenders out of the game to help out the other strikers is what makes him stand out.

I think one of the reasons that Alfies work rate has improved is because he enjoys playing off Dunks and is always expecting to get that little flick or knock on that he would not get from Jake last year. At the last forum he said how much he looked forward to playing with him, i think he is running his heart out for the team this year

Again couldn`t agree more as i`ve said more than once you attack and defend as a unit and hard work on and off the ball is important all over the park. So IMO if it was said Alfie for amongst other things his work rate off the ball it`s a GPWM, so was the reference to last season an implication his work rate was below par on some occasions then ;) which i`m sure he would agree was the case some times, though Stagman has I feel covered the reasons why. So no you havn`t missed anything :?: :?: :?: :?:

Brownie. GPWM???. I don't what that is.
As for last season yes I did feel he gave up on lost causes sometimes and was a little frustrating to watch. Whereas this season he has chased almost everything and won points for the team when there seemed a lost cause. In my own opinion he is a much better player this season than last. That is why he would get my vote, that is the joy of football two people could watch the same game and see different things.
