Recent Tweet from the club:-

@AFCRD: The current rain has left tomorrows fixture in doubt, there will be a pitch inspection at 10.30am to advise everyone as soon as possible.

Match has now been called OFF

With no chance of the pitch being able to recover in time and with further rain expected we thought it was better to call the game off today.

Nice to see they re-arranged it for the Easter Bank Holiday Monday.

Should be a bumper crowd.

Bet Harborough are delighted, hope the game against them can be rearranged for a Sat & they don't get lumbered with us visiting on a Tue night when they had originally been given a Bank Holiday. Or am I being to caring for other clubs.

If you knew what the Harboro co-manager thinks about Diamonds you wouldn't be feeling quite so considerate towards him & his team!!! Do you not remember his reaction after our home game against them!!

Yes point taken, but I wouldn't tar the whole Club with the thoughts, comments & actions of one rather inflated pr ck. The way managers etc move around at this level it would only take about 3 seasons to fall out with everyone. Wasn't at Spalding but from the web site & radio commentary it appeared they did a good job of advising & observing the minutes applause, and that's the Club of Fat Pat Payment.
However all care & consideration towards Harborough is duly withdrawn.
