I think the grading certificates last for three years so unless some disaster strikes during that time, once a club has it they're ok.
To be pedantic, Spalding have a grading for Step 4, they would almost certainly go into the Northern Premier, rather than Southern League.

Blimey they must be well stocked with brown envelopes if Spalding's ground already has the grading !! ;)
