Pitch inspection tomorrow at 10am

You're talking about getting 4-500 round an astrotuf pitch that has no barrier, no turnstyles, presumably no catering facilities, not to mention car parking issues. Then there's the ground grading issue and I'd be shocked if it was graded to UCL standard given there's presumably a lack of any seating or proper terracing of any sort.Neutral wrote:Would it be possible to play tomorrow's game on the 3G pitch.
Not having seen the U21s play over there I'm not sure what the logistical problems would be assuming of course that the UCL would sanction such a switch
Other than that, would the be any problems??BartonRaz wrote:You're talking about getting 4-500 round an astrotuf pitch that has no barrier, no turnstyles, presumably no catering facilities, not to mention car parking issues. From a personal point of view, and you could have read about it in my programme notes for tomorrows game, before it was postponed, I would advocate a 3G or 4G pitch for our use, as it would be good up to Conference standard.BartonRaz wrote:You're talking about getting 4-500 round an astrotuf pitch that has no barrier, no turnstyles, presumably no catering facilities, not to mention car parking issues. I'd be surprised, they posted a picture on Facebook with standing water on the pitch. Shame that was going to be my choicesussexdiamond wrote:Is Cogenhoe v Huntingdon still on?
