A hard worked victory against a stubborn Newport side similar to the reverse fixture. Little threat of the three man defence first half who were all contenders for MOM. Looked like we'd go in behind at half time until Dunks popped and should have led but for Koriya to miss a sitter. We looked at times like a side who had nothing to play for with some weak performances from Taylor, Koriya, Ling but a bit of quality from Bunts for the goal gave us three points.

Yay Bunts. Looking forward to seeing THAT on the highlights.

Before the freekick I joked to my dad 'Glorious winner here?' and lo and behold it was after what was was a lacklustre performance. And how the **** did Koriya miss that chance in the first half, it may have bobbled on a terrible pitch I can't remember, but one of the worst I've seen. Happy with the 3 points nevertheless, we probably deserved it, just.

Ling......has he ever played the game before? At times he looks like he hasn't! He's no better than what's has left before him, Ben Morgan done more than in his first 5 mins than Ling produced today. I can't understand why starms keeps playing him. He maybe low on confidence an needs to be taken out of the firing line. He must have something that we haven't seen yet as he's played at clubs at this level and higher. On the game I thought Faz, Ling, Taylor had quiet games. Parky was superb at the back as was bunts in the centre. Taylor hasn't looked interested in the last few games in my opinion.

To be fair to Ling, he's had some alright games, but today he had an absolute stinker and I'm always nervous when he comes anywhere near to the box, its like he has a phobia to it or something, I don't what it is, but he just can't seem to do anything right when he's in it and it probably should go without saying, he is one of the worst finishers I have ever seen. Sorry to be harsh to the guy, but like Faz, I don't think these players should be starting games after their recent form.

If my sources are correct I reckon it's unlikely that we will see Kingy in the shirt again?!

Was named on the bench but wasn't present at the game. If the guy is a want away then good riddance, we want players who want to fight for the club. Decent footballer but poor clubman

Agreed although great player on his day.

As we were on our way in he was on his way out - told us he was off, got in his car and left!!! If he can't take sitting on the bench then good riddance to him!!!
