It's always difficult to guess what the FA will do, why they can't give clear guidelines I've no idea :roll:
However they have said that the bottom club in each Step 4 Division WILL NOT be reprieved this season. I assume from that therefore the other 8 clubs in the relegation zones would be reprieved before any extra promotions. So 8 clubs would need to resign/ be thrown out of higher levels, or some leagues not provide promotion candidates. Extra promotion candidates would then be on a points per game basis across the 14 Step 5 leagues. However a club finishing 2nd in one league would be considered above one finishing 3rd in another even with inferior ppg. So 2nd place is absolutely essential to have even a slight chance. I think that's right :?
