The problem is that managers aren't given the time and trust to play youth products at the highest level - if Moyes had said that he was going to play the lads that did so well for United they'd have torn into him and called him out on it; the only way we're ever going to get an England side that's strong in depth is by giving young players first-time chances to learn their trade, make mistakes and grow from them.

Of course, that means clubs have to wait for success, and that won't do when you can just do a City and buy £200m players...

The answer to stop this is simple, as a protest, all cancel your sky sports subscriptions and tell sky why!! If there are enough people with the balls to do this then do you really think that a re-think won't come about??

Sky dominate football politics and they only understand money - fans should unite and force a change to this damaging proposal !!!

I'm happy to be corrected on this, but I'm pretty sure that it's not Sky who are pushing this, just the FA and a few of the Premier League teams?

You're not wrong, but if sky's income is hit and there is a direct link to this issue, do you really think they won't apply pressure to the FA and the Premier League?

Sky TV hold football in this country by the testicles and can force the football authorities to do anything frankly. If they think their business is at risk, they'll take action !!

Has anyone read the whole report?

This looks to me ( and I haven't read it) like a long standing FA tactic, put a report in with what you want to do and then stick something totally outrageous in to gt people talking.
