I would like to see our "First X1" decided well before the UCL starts and they be given 2-3 games together so they all know each others game.
Don't agree with any of those points SD! Particularly the last one which would only serve to leave half the squad disillusioned before the season's even started.

Well I for one will not be applying for either position or investing my spare £50.00, last year I applied for the Managers job at Oadby, and even promised to take a number 2 I know they rated very highly, they didn't have the decency to reply or even acknowledge my email.

1874 Northwich-related account has dropped a hint on Twitter that they may be coming to play us at the D&D. Unconfirmed.

Well a friendly against a fellow phoenix club will be welcome for sure. Might we end up playing Hinckley AFC as well?

Looking forward to playing the other Rushden club - should be a good one, nnot sure if they'll have their terrace refurbished by then.

When a decision is made It would be good if the pre-season friendlies earmarked as reserve team friendlies by the management are advertised as such. I appreciate it'll have an effect on crowds but to be honest I don't want to go all the way to AFC Wulfrunians to watch a scratch side, in the same way those that travelled to Widnes last summer probably didn't either.
