Sounds like a great game, shame I was put off by the 'XI', looks like it was a pretty strong squad in the end.

Mark played at centre back alongside Parky. I'd seen him play for Long Buckby in the past and he produced a similar solid performance last night. There will be real competition at centre back, but given the risk of injuries (as we've already seen with Jamal), and the odd suspension I think that's a good thing. We've also got quite a few players you'd class as leaders, so should be able to build on a solid foundation.

It was also clear last night that the younger players in the side are going to be no pushover, with both EL-J and Joe Henderson prepared to give as good as they got in the sort of tussles you don't always see in a friendly game.
