I am not usually one to get too worked up about pre-season results, however i am now concerned too. Defeats to Codicote, Wulfrunians, Corby U18's and a draw with Hinckley won't do much for confidence. On the other hand we've had two good wins against higher opposition. A truly strange set of results.

Poor decision making in the final third once again. We are not playing as a unit. Will be surprised if Lorraine and Turner are in the starting XI on Tuesday evening.

Well all these results count for nothing, so if your undecided about going on Tuesday night, get yourself over to Harborough and lets get behind the team and get off to a great start. This should give the side a boost heading into the fa cup game and then we have to face two teams that we only managed one point from the four league fixtures. Again lets be that 12th man!

Well said. The chaff earlier in the thread is very similar to what we heard last pre-season (when we lost more games) - e.g. http://www.thediamondsforum.co.uk/viewt ... 3&start=20 - but once we went to Deeping and played in a real game we saw what the side was capable of.

The beauty of free speech and this forum is that we are all entitled to an individual opinion whilst still supporting the same club. Let's not see any wheat blow any chaff away from it ;-)
