Occasionally yes, but its still a terrible result and Holbeach will fancy their chances at the title now. Just got to hope what happened after last time we were humbled at Oadby happens again, cause I remember almost exactly 2 years ago feeling like we'd blown it after losing at Oadby.therushden wrote:Not bad for a team 4 from the bottom. Sounded ruddy awful on Radio Diamonds - I imagine a b*****ing of epic proportions is in order, because the side seem to have gone from playing like they believe they can be champions to slipping up all over the place. I still think we'll win it, but someone's got to remind the players that they're some of the best at this level, and they need to prove it.
Any chance we can sign Anne Robinson to do some of her Weakest Link-style motivation?

From what I've read from supporters there was/is no passion at all.

I'd say it was more like no intelligence rather than no passion. I've never seen a more stupid performance by so many players. There was so little urgency for the first hour it was unreal for a team that are struggling to score. Slowly strolling over to take attacking throw ins. Giving away absolutely needless free kicks. The standard moaning at the ref by the same players. The episode where Ashton took a free kick too far away from where it was given (clearly) and was pulled back only for Finley to play it as a moving ball (clearly) was dreadful. Astonishing levels of footballing stupidity. At the end the team looked lost, broken, directionless and leaderless and, worst, a bunch of individuals and absolutely not a team.
