Don't forget that we still need to beat Wellingborough for these celebrations to be justified, and that is not a given if we don't play better than in our previous 2 home league games.
We were also being held 0-0 in the original abandoned game at 66 minutes and didn't look like scoring in that.

I think we will win on Saturday but nothing in football is certain.

I agree, WTFC will up their game to prevent us celebrating, as will Sileby, NP and Cogenhoe and we need to be ready for that - no room for complacency, winners stay focused on the job and we need to do that. In reality we've won nothing yet !! I don't think we should be too arrogant about "where" we pick up the title, we need to up our own game on recent performances to do it in style - we've been getting results, but haven't played to our full potential for weeks to be honest - just doing enough.

I think we'll win Saturday, but it'll be a tough game and we shouldn't take winning for granted - Wisbech did that to a certain extent and it bit them in the bum !!

True, and we'd probably all have taken "just" that at the start of the season. But everyone is talking as though winning the title (which we should do easily now) is a formality - it's not. I think the players and Peaksy especially are too professional to get caught out, but let's show a little respect for the opposition we have to face yet is all I'm saying, you know they'll all raise their game against us, let's party properly when the points are in the bag.

We should do this with two games to spare and winning the title is the way I have always wanted to go up - that's winning something, not just earning promotion for being a runner up IMO !

Jack Ashton and EL-J will have to keep in mind that a yellow card in this game will mean they miss the Cogenhoe and Potton games. I assumed we rested EL-J on Monday for that reason, but there wasn't really an option at the back. I expect this will be a high intensity game, but fortunately we have one of the better refs we've seen this season in charge of the game.

I agree with all of that Formic - Mary put in a top performance earlier in the season, thought she managed the game really well, hopefully a repeat performance this Saturday !! :)

There was such a contrast between the two Harrowby games. In the away game the Harrowby players and management were taking all kinds of liberties (the sort we saw later in the season from Holbeach and Wisbech), yet in the return game, which she took charge of, they behaved themselves.

I'd take a boring 0-0 draw, much like the abandoned game, which would give us the title if our two rivals lose.

Performance of the season today for me, from back to front everybody played well. Roll on Tuesday when we can finally wrap up the title.

Now THAT is how to perform when 900 people turn up. Everybody superb, but defensively Wellingborough an absolute shambles, in such contrast to our previous games against them.

Berwick and Joseph played very well together I thought. Perhaps a partnership forming there.

Good again from her today I thought, not a lot for her to do really, but I can't recall a UCL game with so few referee decisions to moan at, I thought maybe she could have dished out a couple more cards for the Welly players, but other than that, no complaints at all for once!

And finally a performance worthy of champions today, all right the opposition were poor and a bit of a mess at the back and we could have and probably should have had more (Tommy left his shooting boots at home today), but we looked really good again, particularly in the first half where we were totally dominant and a few nice goals and Scott's goals were nice finishes. Shame we couldn't celebrate the title at home, but no matter, that can wait for Tuesday! :D
