Great start and run out for the team, against a hard working but not on AFC's level of opponents. Lorraine, Bunting and Ashton looked like they had carried on from where they had left off last season and the players looked quite fit as a whole. Not sure of the name of the trialist on the right of midfield in the second half (may have been Fitzgerald) but he was the most involved player, running at the full back and cutting inside. If there is an option to sign Courtney Herbert then he must be snapped up, looked a yard quicker and alert than everyone. Peeled off well for his goal and although he was caught offside twice with well finished strikes, he's the sort of striker we need to grab goals, although Lawless looked like he may well be capable of this sore of trait.
