Happy if this goes ahead, it should stay dry right through to match time. If we win this game we will be right up there as favourites to win the league, and l haven't seen any reason why we can't win it. I just hope the pitch holds up.

I think it will be our biggest test in the league so far, as they seem to be creating lots of chances in the style that Thurnby did last season - I predict a 3-3 draw. They had a pacey left winger, Rhys Hoenes, who caused his marker problems without quite delivering a killer cross. Their right-back Danny May is always getting forwards, and takes their set pieces - he strayed across to the left to score their second goal with a good strike when Barton switched off at a corner.

Fingers crossed, I'm working until 2pm, hopefully when I look at my phone when I finish I'll see "game on" and can dash over from Bedford in time for KO !!
If not, I may be condemned to Christmas decoration duties !!

Don't think any rain is scheduled but its very windy. Might not make for a decent match but lets hope for another home win

Ended 4-1 to Royston. We were completely outclassed and I think the second half was the worst I've ever seen us play. They were a very good team throughout though, that winger was absolutely brilliant and as a side they were well organised and disciplined. The referee, however, had a shocker but I'm not going to go into that because we really didn't deserve anything from the game.

The squad is being stretched to the absolute limit and beyond it seemingly. With Dolman, Ashton, Butt, Hall, Harris, ELJ and Joseph missing, not to mention Quigley leaving, there's far too many first team players on the sidelines. I may have missed some!
We actually played quite well in the first half but the weak links were ruthlessly exposed after the break.
Cannot understand for the life of me why Berwick dived when he appeared to have easily rounded the goalkeeper. Had he just walked that into the net the final outcome may not have been the same.

Our first home league defeat since the season before last. Outclassed in the 2nd half and the latter stages of the first as our ultra-thin squad was fully exposed, but at least it will give the management team a few strong ideas about what we need for the challenges ahead. On to Hanwell on Tuesday, hopefully we'll bounce back which we've proved pretty good at in the past
