One thing that is clear is that the player of the season voting will be quite a close run affair this season. I'd guess Lee Tomlin is likely to be favourite, providing he doesn't pick up a long ban for a red card during the run-in.

Jamie Stuart. When I've been watching, he's never put a foot wrong (I missed Salisbury (h) and Crawley (a) ) and always puts in 100% effort. Makes up for his lack of height, with his massive commitment and hunger. A real captain.

I can see Lee Tomlin isn't your favourite player Sara, judging by your
negative comments about him on the Conference Forum. It might be worth you reviewing the highlights of the Oxford game, as I don't think you'd be awarding him quite the same accolade for diving that you did to the conference public on there.
Ok, well I've seen it from 3 angles now and I still think it was a blatant dive. I was right in line with his run on Wednesday and the defender didn't actually touch him, it may have looked the opposite from the BBC video but everyone that was standing around me on Wednesday were laughing at the dive.

I agree, I said straight away it was a dive and nothing has changed my view on it. From certain angles (including where the ref is) it would look a foul, but the SoccerX angle shows its a dive for me.

Brilliant team performances this year, especially since Chritmas so hard to choose but I must say that young boy Byrne is outstanding..!

Byrne and Robinson for me. Both 100% commited, with a touch of class too.
I hope Byrne wins player of the year, but i think it will go to Tommo, though people voting for Tommo should remember its player of the YEAR vote, not player of the 'ONE IN 3 GAMES WHEN I CAN BE BOTHERED' vote!
Tommo has the most natural ability in the squad by far, but a few others stand out in terms of consistancy throughout the season.

Dale and Porter are probably my 2 favourites at the moment, although Stuart is very quickly catching them up after his slow start to the season.
As for player of the season though, I think you're being a bit harsh on Tommo. His consistency has improved greatly this season, and although there are games where he appears to be uninterested (and there probably have been a few where that was genuinely the case) most of those games are down to the opposition doubling up on him and freezing him out of the game. When that happens, it tends to leave space for the likes of Byrne to exploit, which he usually does very well.
Tommo has to be PotS for me, he is comfortably our top scorer despite playing on the left wing rather than as a striker, and has created as many goals for others as he has scored himself - not to mention countless other chances that weren't taken.
