Well that was grim. Not sure who would spend £8 to watch that again...

I know what I would spend £8 on though, both to ensure that referee never has access to a whistle again and to put a wager on Jack Ashton playing a higher level very soon. Not sure I've seen a better performance from a centre back in a long time. Think he won 100% aerial duels with that striker who was at least 6 inches taller than him?

If our whole team was as good as our left side we'd be getting promoted at a canter.

Bring on Arlesley. Win or bust.

Well at least we didn't lose but the actual standard of football on show now is truly terrible it wasn't long ago we actually played some decent stuff on the ground instead of just hoofing it. We have signed all these new players and none of them have improved us, the two centre midfielders are awful Harris and quigley must be wondering what's going on. I really believe the management team are destroying our title/ play off chances. Attendances will fall quickly now as people will not come back to watch that rubbish. I think it's time for changes and I don't mean sign another 4 players.

Is it now acceptable to call this a crisis? 1 goal in 5 and it was a naff goal anyway. Is it also now time to look at the management?

What would you expect the benefits of doing that now to be? Serious question. I fail to see any reason to change the manager at any level in the last month of the season.

Agreed. We're lucky to have a manager of Andy's skills, qualifications and passion for all things Diamonds (the youth ranks as well as the first team). Showing him the door will only result in a counter-productive period of uncertainty/transition followed by an inferior replacement. Today wasn't great by any means but it was an improvement on the recent defeats. Thought Jacko and Lee did well and Finlay's save in the second half was excellent. There's not enough cohesion in the final third and I don't know where the answer lies, but not going up for the third time in four seasons won't be a crisis.

Kings Langly drew, Egham lost, Royston won, St Ives lost - big winners today are Royston (obviously)!

Disappointing from us again today - much better first half than recent weeks, but still not good enough!

Next 2 games are must wins in my book !!

Wasn't at the game today so can't comment on that, but at least we've halted the run of defeats and not really damaged our position in the play-offs at all.

I've been in Kent this weekend staying with a friend, so went to Tonbridge Angels today. They're a good Step 3 side and the standard of football was so much better than we're capable of it was frightening really. I'm beginning to come round to the idea - through necessity - that another season at this level might actually do us a favour.
