[ Tue 10th Jan ] v Rugby Town, KO 7:45pm NPLLC AWAY

Decent performance from most, wouldn't get over excited though given only 4 started for Rugby who started in the 2-2 draw with Chasetown Saturday, and only 4 from the team we drew 1-1 with back end of last year, as Formic has pointed out anything other than a home tie next may well involve a long Tuesday trip.

I wasn't there last night so cant comment too much, good to see plays like curtis get some minutes, Hopefully if we can have a home draw next we might progress quite far in this completion

It would appear that the Premier clubs are not too interested in this competition. Four went out last night. Only two have already progressed (Stourbridge and Grantham), and either Buxton or Nantwich will go through as they play each other. Leaving only Ashton and Matlock as other possible winners.
It was good to see Workington and Spennymoor go out as they would have meant a very long journey when we reach the Final!!!
From the North Div 1, Scarborough, Trafford, Clitheroe and Bamber Bridge are through with Farsley or Goole, and maybe Glossop and Tadcaster.
From the South Div 1 we have AFC R & D , Spalding, Newcastle and Chasetown with Shaw Lane, Basford, Northwich and Leek all yet to play.
A home draw is what we need now.
