We couldn't keep relying on winning on the road and you get these results over the course of the season. The home form has to start turning into wins or else I fear they'll be no play-offs this season.

We've had a major problem all season not defending crosses into our box. The number of headed goals we have conceded in our box is too high.

Not the reaction to Tuesday nights game we all wanted. To many players who just ain't good enough then when somebody comes into the team and performs well like Ford he ends up back on the bench replaced by mcnulty who struggles to keep the ball on the pitch. All this squad rotation how about we give our "reserve keeper" some minutes on the pitch and don't start me on Leslie playing the full 90 minutes last 2 games.

Anybody know how much longer Ross Oulton will be out? Really could do with him in this inconsistent midfield

Fuming to say the least. No-one turned up today from the first minute, the Basford players probably had the easiest game of their season so far. The middle 3 don't have a clue who to pick up, who to track or when to press. Ben Ford shouldn't of been dropped whereas, I can think of at least 2 others that have somehow stayed in the team undeservedly. I'm sure Peaksy is as gutted as I am but that performance was truly embarrassing. Some big big games coming up and a few players need to seriously pick themselves up or we could be in trouble.

I totally disagree - they are sadly all far too consistent!!TheIncognitoKid wrote:Anybody know how much longer Ross Oulton will be out? Really could do with him in this inconsistent midfield
I'm too annoyed by that "performance" to bother saying what I really want to!!
I can take losing to a better team, what I can't take is half arsed performances full of lethargy! Some of the players should be ashamed to take their money this week after that! Basford had a walk in the park today - we asked zero questions of them.
At least I now know what I'm doing Tuesday evening, and it won't involve tearing around and wasting diesel pounding up the M1 after work to watch that level of ineptitude !!
I thought £6 was a deal when I got to the turnstile - I now feel robbed !!

What was the red card all about?
I asked a Basford coach after the game and he blamed Kyle McNulty and said they have tv footage that will justify an appeal.

I seem to remember that when we first set up that we didn't pay players if they lost?Pigman wrote:

That may have been the case then but it wouldn't be like that now.Three of Diamonds wrote:I seem to remember that when we first set up that we didn't pay players if they lost?Pigman wrote:
