I assume Ben Acquaye and Sam Johnson are not available for selection as neither has appeared in the earlier rounds. Is that correct?

I expect Luke Fairlamb to get a rare start against us. On paper and on current form Brackley should have very little trouble. But we do have a 100 per cent record in finals at Sixfields

Very much looking forward to tonight. It would be nice if we could take 400+ fans for this one! Hopefully the cold weather doesn’t put people off.
It goes without saying Brackley are an excellent Step 2 side and it will be fascinating to see how we compete against them. With quality all over the pitch a full strength Brackley team will certainly be a huge test for us. In particular midfielder Shane Byrne is a joy to watch in the middle of the park whilst ex-Football League striker Carl Baker, at 36, is still a class act.
The large gravel car park to the south of the stadium is unfortunately now no longer open to fans, although you can normally park on the country lane which runs parallel to it. I’m sure at least the car park behind the main stand will be available.

Whatever happens, let's hope we try to utilize the good surface and get the ball down and play some passing football. Come on you Diamonds!

Our information was received prior to the game, so if it is correct Brackley will have Cup taken off them and probably banned from next season's competition. It would seem that the rules only allow players who played in a previous round to compete in the Final and at least one Brackley player falls into that category, Prosser who only signed last week. The County FA have to make some unpleasant decisions in the next few days.

It depends if permission was granted - as per the rules from the NFA Website
Final: No player shall be allowed to play in a final tie unless he has already taken part in a previous round, unless special permission is granted by the County Cup Committee.
