Agreed. I thought initially it was aimed at the ref. I think they'll be back though for Luton and Ebbsfleet, especially if Ebbsfleet is where we could confirm a playoff place.

Wasn't the best performance, but then they put so much into Tuesday and were dealing with a side that had no intention of playing football.

Well said Pigman. I hope those that booed, and those that have been so criticial of certain individual players on here will listen to Justin's interview when it gets online. Perhaps they will realise that such stupid actions will hit hard for those people who have put in such efforts to get us where we are.

JE was tremendously supportive of all of his players - it's a shame that some "fans" cannot do the same.

I'm so angry tonight Tony, all the hard work put in over the past months could easily be undone by few mindless idiots, the players didn't deserve that, Justin didn't deserve that. I hope the players and officials at the club look in on this thread and realise it was just a few idiots making their voices heard, some of whom haven't been to NP for a long time, part of me wants to say I hope they don't come back, but equally I know how important it is to get people to return to NP.

I feel angry and a little sad tonight, we have no divine right to win games and Evans is a master at setting up sides to frustrate the opposition, just such a shame some people don't see it. I just hope that the ungrateful bastards who booed tonight decide to keep their mouths shut in future as we're on the threshold of something good - I'd hate to see moral destroyed by a few brainless morons !!

i didn't think there was that many boos. maybe a brief release of anger but i thought quite a few clapped them off and sang the songs.

I thought the booing was for the referee.

If it was for the players then all I can say to the fans who did it is f*** you. It's a frustrating performance but everyone was bound to be knackered after K*ttering. I'd like to see the boo boys go out and play Blue Sq standard football on a shitty pitch like K*ttering and turn up tonight feeling 110% for another 90 minutes. Was never going to happen.

I couldn't here much booing on the radio, so i hope the players and staff just move on from it, lets not make a big fuss about it, we'll bring as many down on Monday and cheer them on, even if they lose 8 nil, lets show them we're behind them and we appreciate everything they've done so far - JEMS especially must know that our hardcore fans wouldn't boo, we didn't boo on the opening day or when we lost to Forest Green, so a tired performance against a tough and fresher mid table side is not a bad result for most of our fans, and most definitely see it as a point gained, so clearly this would never merit booing, sure the performance wasn't as strong as they have been recently and for that it is disappointing and maybe it was disappointing for newcomers that we couldn't perform in an entertaining fashion on the first genuine time I've noticed an increase in Home supporters...BUT, we've got much more important games coming up that require a bit of freshness and motivation and definitely need support from US the 12th man, so hopefully all of us including new comers and glory hunters will get behind the lads and we'll get real momentum going into the playoffs with a team that has a close togetherness with it's fans (we saw it at K*ttering) let's keep it that way....

As I said on another thread, I was pretty disappointed with how things panned out, but the booing was ridiculous and completely unnecessary.

In fact as some one mentioned, I thought maybe it was aimed at the ref...well I HOPED it was aimed at the ref, because if it was at the lads it was really unfair, especially to JEMS.

I cant believe what I am reading, what a bunch of complete tossers, image if we had nicked it in the last minute, every body would be cheering and ranting.

They draw, didn't lose, at this point in the season, who gives a shit how they play, points on board is the priority.

I hope some of these tossers read this, and "man up" and apologize, but I doubt it, they haven't got the balls or intelligence to do this, I for one think the team deserve all the plaudits possible for achieving the position.

Is it possible to email this thread to the club, so that the players can actually read it and realise it was probably only inbred K*ttering fans that had sneaked in.

I have just read the moaning thread about the game, god, you lot are dull, get out gets some friends and enjoy life, it was draw, not the end of the world.
