The latest in a string of positive performances. Well worth the win and truthfully it should have been by more. If we weren't quite as wasteful in front of goal we could have a lot more points on the board already. Cracking strike from Fairlamb to seal it, though.
The formation worked today and Lorrell Smith benefitted from a start, he was a danger throughout. The two in central midfield were fantastic, Jesse and Fernando picked up where they left off last week, although I'd say that's the best game I've ever seen Fernando have in a Diamonds shirt. Casey and Collard were immense again also, a contract surely beckons for the former, the improvement in him over the past 12 months has been phenomenal.

Very good result, and should have definitely have scored more. Fingers crossed Jesse’s injury isn’t too bad.
Casey looked superb again today, still unsure over Hughes - he looked out of his depth at times.
Would love to see Prince get a decent length of time on the pitch soon, looks lively but hasn’t had the chance to have a proper impact yet

Great performance & enjoyable game. Loads of positives! Thought back 4 done well with both centre halfs very good. Hughes I've never been sure on however the kid been out injured most of the season & today up against a very good player in sweeney,so.based on all that a steady game by the lad.
Really liked the system today which at times looked a 4 2 1 3 with fernando & Jesse doing a great job. Thought Chris held the ball up well & brought others into play, lorrell looks a player, turns defenders for fun & very quick. Enjoyed Luke's finish and no more than we deserved. Great team performance & great start in the league. Good work by all involved

It was a really good performance, so full of effort. We need to work on our one on one finishing though. So many youngsters came out of this game with great credit.
Attendance could be raised to 475 easily. We stood outside the clubhouse first half and I counted 15 unused blue spaces and there were plenty more dead opposite.

And the rest. There were whole areas of the ground almost unused yesterday. As you say, outside of the a Clubhouse being one. You could have easily put another 100 in there.Three of Diamonds wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:30 am It was a really good performance, so full of effort. As we discussed yesterday afternoon. I appreciate the difficulty the Board/COVID-19 Group have in determining a safe maximum 450 and I sense they are being rather cautious in their assessment. As I pointed out in an earlier post there is no way all season ticket holders will be present at each fixture and they really need to revisit their current assessment of the ground’s capacity under the present restrictions.BartonRaz wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:57 am And the rest.
