Difficult to know what to make of last night really. Nothing to set the pulses racing or get too worked up about but Chenecks didn't look like a team that had shipped an average of 6-7 goals a game this season. Not sure if that's because we weren't very good, or they raised their game. Sounds like Peaksy wasn't thrilled but at least some players that needed it got some minutes.

Cordon looked lively when he came on and showed some great touches.

Only two who started last night likely to start on Saturday. At least the next round might have a bit more interest if we draw K*ttering Brackley or Pete Sports.

Still no sign of Lorell yet either?? Really hope he hasn't moved on.

I assume the third sub was Fraser Corden? Twitter doesn't give a first name.

Nice to see Tom Lorraine netting again. I wonder if he'll get to 100 goals before he reaches 300 appearances for the club.

Although Tom has made nearly 300 appearances he has only started about 220. So not a bad goals per game record,over 7 years and at Steps 5,4 and 3.

The League Cup draw is equally unsurprising, with the tie at Peterborough Sports. We really need to face someone new before too long.

Not sure about that. I'd expect Garwood, Dolman (or Casey if he's still not quite right), Gyasi and Lorraine to all start tomorrow. And probably either Slinn or Fernando if Williams isn't fit.
