Seeing Banburys highlights of their fa cup game you can understand why he’s gone there . And also notice why they have huge crowds again

I would say Banbury are getting decent crowds rather than ‘huge’ as this demonstrates.

To put this into perspective Saturday’s big attendance in their match in the FAC 4QR is the sort of crowd that we might possibly enjoy in that situation. Now their fans have an enticing FAC 1st Round Proper home tie to look forward to against League opposition Barrow.
Last night’s attendance against Leiston of just under 500 would, in part, be due to them only charging £5 with U18’s only be asked to pay £1 for the match celebrating the opening of their recently installed LED floodlights.

On the other subject I think led floodlights are awful. Creates dark areas maybe because it’s very direct . Suppose long term elec costs will be very low , after of course the cost of the lights are paid back

I understand that these cost in the region of £25k but a shame if it produces poor lighting.

I understand that these cost in the region of £25k but a shame if it produces poor lighting.
I'd be surprised if there was a significant difference between the light produced by the old incandescent floodlight bulbs and the new LED ones, given the tests that clubs have to go through in order to have them approved. That is, unless you're mates with the person doing the test and some of the grid readings are accidentally recorded a little higher than they actually measured.

Each led pack has to be positioned exactly right otherwise you get shady areas . Produces shadows more too. But like I said if it keeps the elec costs down once the leds are paid for them I can understand why non league clubs are doing this
