Great result, made even more sweeter that they really got wound up! All their keeper seemed to do in the first half was moan at his team mates, soon shut up in the second half! And inadvertently started the “dodgy keeper” chant! :cheesy:

The atmosphere was great, think it actually helped having more away fans than normal.

Our squad is getting somewhat diminished. With Garwood gone we only haves Hughes as defensive cover. Ravi injured, could be some time. Akubine seemingly gone walkabout. Smith still not ready. The 5 subs on Saturday picked themselves and one was a goalie and not sure about Snellus capability.

That's a shocking challenge shown on the video just after the goal. There ought to be a way of getting retrospeciive sanctions on both the player and the referee. It's easy to freeze frame it with the player having two feet in the air, studs up.

You're right, it looked bad at the time, but almost worse when seeing it again. Standard of refereeing really had been worse this season than ever, but that tackle I think serves as an indication of how we frustrated them. There wasn't a lot of great football on display on Saturday, but it's a measure of how far we've come as a team this season, that were able to win ugly when we need to. I felt the week before at Alvechurch that 10-15 games ago we would have conceded and drawn that game, but were capable of grinding out a result better these days, which will serve us well with some tough games in he run in.

Saturday's win felt massive. Pick up results against Rushall and PSL and we're really going to be in the mix
