If it is the case I actually think he should have stayed, of course we don’t stand in the way of anyone wanting to better themselves but he has only been with us 4 months and we as a club have helped him grow. It’s only 8 weeks till the end of the season and he could have scored a few more goals and had a decent pick in the summer of where he wanted to go, I’m sure another 5-10 goals between now and the end of the season for us would have had many clubs chasing him. A massive part of how we play and what has made it work so well could be missing from today, who do you get to replace? Good luck trying to get that player in and fitting in so quickly. Very disappointing but we did it to K*ttering for years so what can you do.

Completely agree with this although given the wedge that he’s been offered reportedly I can understand the temptation. I’d wish him luck if he joins anyone but them, personally I hope he fails miserably and comes back with his tail between his legs.

Money talks unfortunately! But also with the rumoured amount we pay its impossible to contract everyone,if injuries was to happen (Ravvi) your hands are tied to bring in replacements! It might of been offered a conny but didn't want it.. who knows!

I believe if Ty see the season out he'd of got fair few offers & alot better places to play football than up the road. But when your getting offered a decent wedge a week it's hard not to take it without predicting the future. Been great for us but to see if he can cut level above is another story

Honestly, I’m sat here in disbelief, first Peaksy, and now Ty Deacon. I just can’t bring myself to wish him luck, sorry but I lose all respect for any players who join them from us. Yes I know the old club “stole” a lot of their players early on, but I can’t help but feel disappointed, I guess I now know how they felt when we did it to them!

A massive mistake not getting him in a contract.

Completely agree with you. It's become a bit of a running joke that I maybe lived Ty more than most, but I can't look past any player going directly from us to them. He's been quality for us, and had he gone to anybody else at the step above I'd be completely fine with it. Now though, I hope he never scores again!!

Great player and helped really turn our season around. Great opportunity for him to test himself at the next level and earn a few quid at the same time.
