We played well in parts today, once the first goal went in you knew we weren’t going to get back in it, we are seriously lacking up top and that’s been evident from the first game, we must need to add to the squad in that position.
I think if we can do that we will improve and so will the players as we have some very good young players here, we need the men that was being talked about towards the end of pre season

I’m glad everyone is coming around to the thinking I had during that awful pre season.
Everyone was seemingly happy to go with such a young squad and see how they develop. But now we are losing games (which I was trying to suggest on how we can avoid) the call for more older and experienced players is being talked as a MUST NEED, even by burgess himself.
I’ve said it before and I don’t know why it wasn’t thought as needed before we started playing for points. But everyone was calling me negative.
Would some of you like to make your mind up.

Can we afford them now?
Conor Tee can't have been cheap nor Matty Fossen defender.
I still would like to see us persist with the youth, they deserve more than 3 games.
3 games is absolutely nothing in part time football, they haven't even had 10 training sessions yet.

exactly what I was also trying to point out but was also getting called out for. We do have some very exciting young players but we have to add experience to that , even if it means Burge has to sacrifice a "Head" or 2

We have got to have a very cheap team as it’s so young. Must be miles cheaper compared to last year. Plus I know there is money in the player lottery.
should use it to dig R selfs out this position.
Why do we want to develop youth so much, how often does a team stay 2gether in this league for years. You aren’t likely to develop youth in a season and if we do develop them likely they just leave when season ends. What’s the Plan! Should be going for some1 like big Greg at basford when we could!

Difficult to pull any positives from that today. If you were really looking for some then maybe Agemoh who carried the ball well and Ngwa who was lively although still no end product. Beyond that...
It might have taken until the 73rd minute for Alvechurch to break the deadlock but we were thoroughly second best. We'll face better sides than that this season, and soon.

If Burgess half time talks are as bland as his interviews its no wonder we have lost the second half for past three games. He needs to get himself and the team fired up. If we needed a back up keeper yesterday why was it not Watson. Was it considered more important for him to play for the under 23's. I am wary of the way the U23 game has been promoted as a great win, for goodness sake it's Step 7 that's even lower than when we started 10 years ago.. Is it part of a plan to undermine Burgess and replace him?

the solution to all the problems is quite simple,,GET A F?%KING STRIKER,,,,goals lift team spirit, goals lift fans.goals get the paying punter through the door,,,,the defence will do ok,midfield with fernando back will be alright....but im sorry the front needs sorting,,,,if jenson is to succeed and improve he needs a dunkley type player to learn off, dirty ,mean ,and ruthless in the box,,,,,,also a big captain ,,far too quite and NICE !!!!!
