Hopefully long term appointment and if it happens the R word will be accepted and allow Chris the time needed to rebuild if necessary at step 4. Great appointment imo and I would say good luck to him but he won’t need any luck just time to sort out what he’s inherited.

He should have been appointed when Peaks left and saved us 10 months of despair. So better late than never.

At last a good appointment of our new manager. He did a great job at Biggleswade and seems to have carried it on at Kempston Rovers so he has a good track record. As he has said its all about getting everyone pulling in the right direction, on and off the field, starting with boxing day,the rest of the season starts then so let's have a good turnout and cheer the lads to victory.

Seems like the best possible outcome. Well done to the board, to get anyone after they have been turned down once is good going, go get him after he's been turned down twice is fantastic.

The time to judge will be May 2023, the rest of this season should be a freebie for him and his team.

Time for some positive comments on this forum now after all the toxic thoughts that have been floated on here over the last months. A new manager is a great start and with the right support who knows what we may achieve, it's definitely a pull together time whatever the result.
