Ouch, yes that result hurts but let's learn, improve and go again. It's early days but we need to sharpen up in front of goal to get the benefits. Let's get a cup run going, we're coming back from holidays so driving to the game on Saturday.

Gutted to lose so late on last night, after really being the only team in the game in the 2nd half. Before their 2nd goal, Bedworth were basically ‘Get it to No 6 FC’. Whilst I think we deserved a draw, we probably didn’t deserve to win the game in my opinion, perhaps we could’ve just about nicked it, but we were never gonna score a lot of goals last night. That my only slight worry about the team, other than Jamal vs Corby (which was a wonder goal), we haven’t scored a goal from open play yet. Our set-pieces are such a brilliant asset, don’t get me wrong, but when we have all the possession we have to find a way to break the other team down. Obviously, in the case of last night, sometimes playing against 10 men is actually harder. And let’s not speak about the ref.

Overall I thought we were the better team on the night, on another day we win that comfortably. Team looks strong, great from set-pieces. Just one counter attack at the death cost us. I reckon we're one or two players away from a really good side. Bedworth were poor except their number 6 and number 9. There will be matches this season where we win and don't deserve it. Swings and roundabouts. Onto Newark!
