Great performance from Ethan Johnston, took his goal well and denied a second. Not always our most effective player but took his chances well. When he joined Diamonds he had a reputation as a goalscorer but I have never felt his best position was playing wide. Deserved his MOTM.

A shame we couldn’t keep a clean sheet, our player went down injured, I didn’t even realise the ref had waved play, so wasn’t paying attention, and next thing I saw was the Boldmere players sorrounding the referee and he gave them a goal.
Was told after that it was a quick free kick Ben screwed it up and it rebounded off a player into the back of the net ? I guess we’ll have to wait for the match highlights to see what actually happened.
