Great result, and was so proud to be a AFC R&D fan.

That second penalty was comedy gold, don't think I've ever seen a worse penalty taken!!

If you are going to win the game then the 92nd minute is not the worst time to do it! ;) I make it that we have now scored 22 goals in six FA Cup matches to date. What an afternoon and a performance both on and off the pitch. Our players never lost belief and the desire needed to win. Roll on Monday morning for the draw for the next round. I fancy Corby Town at the Dog and Duck although they have still to get past Mickleover Sports in a replay.

Fantastic performance, both on and off the pitch !! Immensely proud of the players, but well done to everyone who helped off the field today, not an easy task and I think we did a pretty good job too :)

So proud of our club tonight - can't wait to see who we draw, it's like Christmas isn't it? :)

3rd round proper weekend is my birthday - fingers crossed eh ;)!

It may not be a very long history but that has to be the best day yet. Our under 21s knock a team out of the. N'ants junior cup the 1st team were in the same Division as last season. While the 1st team deservedly dump the in form Southern Prem side out of the FA Cup :o Please don't anyone claim Cambridge were not as good as we thought or they had an off day  the team that has won 5 on the spin inc hammering a good Kings Lynn side 5-1 away were beaten by a better side on the day  A few dodgy moments but all in all a superb performance. Was the last goal Starms 1st ever :?: fair play to him stick Lance on & move Alfie out wide, & no he didn't want to go there & had a moan about it, fortunately listened and what a result :D a minimum of an assist for Starms :!:
A very happy Brownie moving swiftly down a rather splendid bottle of Rioja whilst admiring Rachel Riley's assets. Bloody fine day all round.

We'll still go into that game looking to do a proper job, how many thought we would turn Camb. City over today. A draw still would have been a great result!

Were we kicking towards the PDB in the 2nd half?

I never like this when it happens, the atmosphere in the first half with the majority of the 750/800 home fans at that end and the PDB full made for a brilliant atmosphere, but for the second half with much of the crowd understandably heading towards the other end, the atmosphere seemed a lot quieter until we got the goals with the crowd more spread out at what you could call the 'away end'.
